Reimund Simon* is Managing Partner of 365 Sherpas Brussels – Corporate Affairs & Policy Advice and responsible for the Brussels office.

With around 20 years of experience in political communication and public affairs, he advises and supports companies, organizations and public institutions in political and strategic issues, in their representation of interests and in communication with the European Parliament, the European Commission and the Council of the EU.

With more than 13 years of experience in Brussels, Reimund Simon has particular expertise in establishing and managing political-strategic partnerships, has a broad network of regulatory experts in EU institutions and companies, and has experience in the planning and implementation of effective policy advice and political communication .

From 2008 to 2016 at the American-European government consultancy ICF International, Reimund Simon was responsible for the accompanying political communication of the EU Commission Directorates General Environment, Employment, Internal Market, Industry and Digital as well as the development of the parliamentary television channel of the European Parliament. From 2017 to 2020, he advised the EU institutions on economic policy issues as the Brussels office manager of the German Economic Council.

Reimund Simon has founded several European business stakeholder groups in Brussels, which specifically communicate economic policy interests to the EU institutions, particularly in the areas of the digital single market, energy transition and industrial policy.

Between 2002 and 2007, Reimund Simon worked in Berlin as a PR and public affairs consultant for projects of the federal ministries of education and research as well as economy and energy, as well as for the European Central Bank and non-governmental organizations.

Reimund Simon speaks German, English, French and has a basic knowledge of Spanish. He holds degrees in economics and politics from the universities of LMU-Munich, Science-Po Aix-en-Provence and UCLA in the USA.
