TORBEN HENNIGS
Torben Hennigs has been a Director in the Berlin office of 365 Sherpas – Corporate Affairs & Policy Advice since April 2023.
He supports clients in questions of strategic positioning and in geopolitical analysis and strategy planning. In addition, a focal point of his work are sustainability and impact communication, especially in the international arena. Due to several years of experience in the areas of parliamentary work, political campaigning, and international project management, he has in-depth knowledge of parliamentary and political processes as well as campaign communications.
In the German Bundestag he worked as chief of staff to deputy leader of the parliamentary group of Alliance 90 / The Greens, Agnieszka Brugger, as well as the current co-leader of the parliamentary group, Katharina Dröge. He gained experience in political campaign work on the 2009 and 2013 general election campaigns of Alliance 90 / The Greens.
Thanks to many years of professional and academic experience in the United States Torben Hennigs has excellent knowledge of political processes in the transatlantic and geopolitical context, in combination with an established network in Washington, DC and a nuanced understanding for the unique challenges of international project management.
Torben Hennigs holds a Bachelor of Arts in Governance and Public Policy from the University of Passau and a Masters degree in Professional Studies of Political Management from George Washington University in Washington, DC. He is a former assistant lecturer at the University of Passau. Torben Hennigs speaks German, English at native level and has advanced basic knowledge of French. He is a former study scholar of the Heinrich Böll Foundation and a former graduate scholar of the German Academic Exchange Service.
