Lukas Schmiele is a Junior Associate at 365 Sherpas – Corporate Affairs & Policy Advice in Brussels.

Before joining 365 Sherpas in April 2025, Lukas Schmiele gained experience in policy making at both the national and European levels. He previously worked as a trainee in the Directorate-General for Trade and Economic Security at the European Commission and held student assistant roles in two Bundestag offices, as well as at the communications agency ressourcenmangel.

Lukas Schmiele holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Political Science from the University of Potsdam and a Master of Arts in European Studies from KU Leuven, where he specialised in the EU’s economic and industrial policy. He subsequently completed a Master of Science in Advanced European Policies and Public Administration at KU Leuven and Sciences Po in Paris.
