Yunus-Emre Güllü joined the 365 Sherpas expedition team in Berlin in November 2023 as a Junior Associate.
Before joining, he worked as an assistant in the recruitment department of the Centre for International Peace Operations for EU and OSCE missions. Yunus Güllü gained further practical experience in NGOs, the local editorial office of the Tagesspiegel, the Foreign Office, the German Bundestag and as a student tutor for social science statistics at the Free University of Berlin.
Yunus Güllü studied Communication and Political Science at the Free University of Berlin as a double major and Social Sciences at the Humboldt University of Berlin and the Middle East Technical University in Ankara. His final theses take a look at right-wing extremist internet forums in Germany and Turkish foreign policy in Libya.
Yunus Güllü speaks German, Turkish and English and has basic knowledge of Arabic and French. He is an honorary member of the think tank “Polis180” and an international election observer for the OSCE.
