Dr. Andrea Römmele is one of the most distinguished communication and political scientists with many years of consulting and media experience. She is Vice President, Dean of Executive Education and Professor of Communication in Politics and Civil Society at the Hertie School in Berlin. She received her Master’s degree from San Francisco University in a cross-registration programme with the University of California at Berkeley, her PhD from the University of Heidelberg and her habilitation from the Free University of Berlin. Her research interests include comparative political communication, political parties and public affairs. She is a sought-after speaker and commentator on political issues and host of her own reportage series “Understanding Democracy” on ARD.
