Marilena Goralczyk is an associate at the 365 Sherpas – Corporate Affairs & Policy Advice Berlin office.

She advises clients on strategic positioning, political communication and responsible lobbying at national and European level.

Her specialist fields are domestic and security policy (particularly combating organised crime and money laundering), the regulation of the digital economy (particularly IT security and data processing) and global health and medical research funding. Before joining 365 Sherpas – Corporate Affairs & Policy Advice in November 2016 Marilena was a student employee and grant recipient working in public affairs at the strategy and communication consultancy firm Gauly Advisors. Prior to that she gained practical experience at the German Bundestag, the European Parliament, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Singapore and at the BMW Group. These work experience programmes gave Marilena insights into the digital single market, international trade policy, regulation in the automotive sector and renewable energies/climate policy legislation.

Marilena graduated from the University of Maastricht with a master’s degree in European studies. She gained her bachelor’s degree in political and social studies from Julius Maximilians University in Würzburg. Her major subjects in both degree programmes were German and European foreign and security policy, defence policy and international relations. Marilena speaks German, English, French, Italian and Dutch.
