Daniel Mack was born in 1986 in Bad Soden-Salmünster. While studying law, politics and sociology at the universities of Darmstadt and Marburg he advised SMEs on digital communication.

Working for eight years in parliament and at the centre of five electoral campaigns, Daniel positioned Bündnis 90/DIE GRÜNEN (green party) on digitalisation, initially at a local level and later as a party in the Hesse state parliament. In 2013 he secured internet policy for Bündnis 90/DIE GRÜNEN during the negotiations to form the first regional Green/Conservative coalition in Hesse.

Daniel has worked as a communications advisor on digital projects for brands such as Adidas, Audi and L’Oréal, as well as developing digital strategies for public figures such as Franz Beckenbauer, the Olympic medal-winning skier Maria Höfl-Riesch and various politicians, since 2014. Most recently he ran the Scholz & Friends Content Desk, a team of some 20 workers in the fields of digital content, editing and design for customers such as Fisherman’s Friend, innogy, otelo, air berlin, Deutsche Bahn and the Federal Press Office.

As a blogger he has had articles published by Handelsblatt, ZEIT ONLINE, Huffington Post, The European and SPONSORs.

Daniel has been an associate director at 365 Sherpas since April 2017.
