Cornelius Winter is the founder and principal partner of 365 Sherpas – Corporate Affairs & Policy Advice, and he is also a partner at Hirschen Group – Home of the Brave, a platform for over ten communication and consulting agency brands with over 800 people in Germany. He advises senior executives in diverse sectors of industry, associations and political institution managers on the development and implementation of communication strategies and lobbying activities. Cornelius is also a crisis and change communication specialist. Since embarking on his career as a consultant in 1999 Cornelius has played a key role in guiding over 100 clients through critical situations, as well as advising and supporting them in their on-going reputation management activities.

Before founding 365 Sherpas – Corporate Affairs & Policy Advice, Cornelius held management functions at other major communication agencies in Berlin, Frankfurt and Brussels. Before moving into consultancy he worked for members of the European Parliament and the German Bundestag, and in DeutschlandRadio Berlin’s politics and political background department. Cornelius studied political science and law at Humboldt University of Berlin and at the Free University of Berlin. He is co-founder of de’ge’pol – the German Association of Political Consultants – and regularly supports initiatives to encourage more exchange between research and practice in political and communications consultancy.
