Above all, our expeditions aim to be sustainable – in our communications work and also in terms of our environment. We recognise our responsibility as people and as an organisation, and therefore support and promote sustainable development in the areas of ecology, economy and social matters.
We are committed to diversity and inclusion. We believe that the diversity of different perspectives breeds innovation and creativity, and that is why we implement specific measures to cultivate an appreciative, judgement-free working environment – find out more here.
We make efforts to protect resources in our work and handle the financial resources of our organisation and those of our clients, partners and service providers in a responsible manner.
We have formalised our ecological awareness and conduct in a binding policy and anchored this in our day-to-day operations in a measurable way: we are part of the European Eco Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) of the European Commission, one of the most stringent systems of its type, which we use for continuous and transparent improvement in our environmental performance through a certified environmental management system (ISO 14001:2015) and standardised environmental operations audits.
