Susanne Krings is Senior Director at 365 Sherpas – Corporate Affairs & Policy Advice and heads up the Cologne office.

Since 2013, Susanne Krings has been working in strategic communications across all sectors – on both the consulting and corporate side. Her main areas of expertise include advising on strategic communication issues and supporting projects with integrated communication concepts that overcome internal company silos.

Before joining 365 Sherpas, she started her professional career as a consultant at Ketchum Pleon, then worked as PR & Marketing Manager at a Cologne-based drugstore and pharmacy care manufacturer and was subsequently responsible for global brand management at fittings manufacturer GROHE. In 2019, she returned to the agency world and, as Co-Managing Director at the Hirschen Group agency ressourcenmangel, was responsible for the successful development and expansion of the Düsseldorf office and clients from the private and public sectors. Most recently, Susanne Krings was Managing Director at the Citizen Relations agency, where she was responsible for the development of the German entity.

Susanne Krings is a member of Global Women in PR Germany – a network for experienced female communicators who work in companies, agencies, consultancies, associations, industry service providers or independently. As part of her GWPR membership, she has also been a volunteer mentor for three mentees since 2022. She is also an advocate for topics relating to female empowerment and DEI&B.

Susanne Krings studied German Studies and Applied Philosophy at the University of Duisburg-Essen and the University of Oslo. She completed her Master’s degree in Communication Science with distinction at the University of Duisburg-Essen. She is fluent in German and English and has basic knowledge of French, Spanish, Swedish and Norwegian.
