Salim Akkari is a Senior Associate at 365 Sherpas – Corporate Affairs & Policy Advice.

As part of our business development team, Salim Akkari drives strategic initiatives for organizational development across locations. He supports new business processes and the development of new consulting products, internal knowledge and quality management, as well as formats for positioning and expanding the network of 365 Sherpas.

Salim Akkari began his professional career at the publishing house Der Tagesspiegel, where he held various positions over several years and played a key role in the strategic development of the specialist briefing “Tagesspiegel Background.” Most recently, he worked for the Wegweiser Group as a project manager for conferences and media, focusing on program and partner management in the field of security policy.

Salim Akkari studied Semitic languages, politics, and Islamic studies at the Freie Universität Berlin and completed an Erasmus semester at the Atatürk Institute of Boğaziçi University in Istanbul. He is fluent in German and English, has a good knowledge of French, and basic knowledge of Arabic and Turkish.
