how we work

Our dedicated expedition team of experienced and specialist consultants develops strategies for corporate enterprises, associations and institutions and supports them in all performance-related communication processes in the political, media and public spheres.

The journey we take with our clients, from base camp to summit, enables them to reap the rewards of commercial or political success, reputation gain and targeted communications. On that journey we collaborate with partners who know their job, can adapt to the circumstances and do the necessary groundwork to achieve the client’s objective. Our consultants have the ideal combination of enthusiasm, empathy and common sense. We believe that courage, passion and foresight are the key to making effective changes and taking innovative approaches that work.

Whether you’re in the mountains or the communications arena, you need a team you can trust. That’s why, on the way to the summit, we take care of ourselves, our colleagues and our clients by using our resources responsibly. We understand individual situations and needs – both professional and personal – and let this understanding guide our consulting and collaboration concept.

We always look for people who are a good fit for our organisation and vice-versa. People who are curious, open-minded and can contribute their knowledge and experience to our expeditions. People who are willing to forge new paths, tackle challenging assignments and are committed to their team and the clients that trust us. People who approach both routine tasks and the creative/unconventional projects that we encounter in our daily work with the same professionalism and dependability – whether they’re a career starter or a seasoned consultant.

We are diverse

365 Sherpas has a diverse team, a diverse skill set, diverse career opportunities and a diverse client base. We are energised by our diversity. It offers us the opportunity to continue learning and growing and enables us to reach even higher peaks together. In fact, we have formulated a diversity commitment.
Our commitment

Our values

Our work together is founded on mutual respect and appreciation. In a team effort we developed and defined values that guide us in our relationships with each other. As mindful explorers we base our actions and identities on these values.

Mindfulness

We believe that mindfulness should be omnipresent and we ensure our own and our colleagues’ well-being by using our individual resources responsibly. And, when it comes to our clients, we strive to understand their individual situations and tailor our advice to that understanding.

Spirit of discovery

We see ourselves as explorers who anticipate political, business and societal developments for which there are no ready-made solutions and use creativity and passion to develop new ones.

Partnership

We and our stakeholders are long-term partners. We always strive to provide them with honest and, whenever possible, inspiring support. We are distinguished by our strength of attitude, our attentive listening skills and our respectful communications with clients, employees, partner agencies, Hirschen Group agencies and our service providers.

Analytical

We take every client brief seriously. That involves analysing whether the brief is presented in a practical way, and whether the description of the problem really does cover all the relevant aspects of the client’s situation. Naturally, we also analyse our own actions and solutions.

Creative

We take a creative approach to problem solving. We have both the attitude and the processes to think outside the box. Specific challenges need targeted solutions that can be both imperceptible and unconventional if they serve the purpose.

Optimistic

We take a creative approach to problem solving. We have both the attitude and the processes to think outside the box. Specific challenges need targeted solutions that can be both imperceptible and unconventional if they serve the purpose.

Passionate

We all share a passion for communication and for political, economic and social contexts. This passion is what motivates us to develop best-in-class solutions.

Competent

Subject-matter expertise and social competence are the foundations of our work. To be a sherpa you must possess extraordinary talents and abilities.

Diverse

We are energised by our diversity. It offers us the opportunity to continue learning and growing. We ensure that all the sherpas in our team can be confident their dignity will be respected by all people and at all times.

Well-connected

We have a vast network at both agency and consultant level. It is both a source of inspiration and helps us pave the way to successful outcomes.
